Exhibition of Xu Beihong’s Authentic Works – An Art Works Exhibition Officially Authorized by the Xu Beihong Memorial Hall
Xu Beihong (1895-1953), of the Han ethnicity, originally named Xu Shoukang, was from Qiting Town, Yixing City, Jiangsu Province. He was a modern Chinese painter and art educator. He once studied Western painting in France. After returning to China, he was engaged in art education for a long time. He successively taught at the Art Department of National Central University, the School of Art of Peking University, and the Beiping Art Academy.
