He successively taught at the Art Department of National Central University, the School of Art of Peking University, and the Beiping Art Academy.

The descendants of the Qi School include Qi Yanfang, Qi Yanxi, and Qi Fu, who are the great-granddaughters of Qi Baishi. The authentic works have the authorization, and the descendants of the Qi School can also attend the event.
