Jin Wen was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu in 1954. He is a famous Yunjin artist, a national level Yunjin master of arts and crafts, a representative inheritor of China's intangible cultural heritage (Yunjin), and a representative inheritor of Nanjing Yunjin wood machine makeup flower hand weaving skills. He is known as the "first person to weave dragon robes".
