Rao Baolian, a master of intangible cultural heritage Paper Cuttings
Rao Baolian is an outstanding Paper Cuttings artist and the inheritor of Paper Cuttings's "intangible cultural heritage" of paper-cut. She was born in January 1974, and her native place is Dapu County, Meizhou, Guangdong Province. She has loved painting since childhood. She is now a painter of Foshan Artists Association Creation Institute, a member of Chancheng District Artists Association, and the secretary general of Paper Cuttings art committee of Foshan Folk Artists Association. Rao Baolian's art career began in 1993, when she came to work in Foshan from her hometown. She originally studied oil painting, but a competition made her bond with Paper Cuttings.
